There was a tad bit bafflement for India from judo as both Shushila Likmabam and Navjot Chana settled for the silver in the wake of losing their particular last sessions in the 2014 Commonwealth Games at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Center (SECC) on Thursday.
Kalpana Thoudam won the bronze in the ladies' 52kg class as she beat Christianne Legentil of Mauritius. Christianne got three penalties while Thoudam had two.
Be that as it may desires were high from both Shushila and Chana after they put on a ruling show in their past rounds. Anyhow tragically they performed hopelessly in the last.
Shushila grabbed two shidos or punishments against Scottish young lady Kimberley Renicks, who won the first gold decoration for the hosts in the ladies' 48kg classification. Kimberly completed off with an ippon as the indoor stadium blast into a loud adulation.
