The Army has been continued stand-by as strain mounted in Assam's Baksa region where assortments of three more persons hijacked by suspected NDFB (S) activists were recovered from Beki River on Sunday.
The police terminated circulating everywhere to scatter a crowd holding a challenge against the hijacking infringing upon inconclusive time limitation which has been clipped in Salbari sub-division and Anand Bazar region.
Baksa Deputy Commissioner Vinod Seshan said, "We have recovered three more bodies this morning from Beki river. We do not know the type of injuries these bodies bore. The details will be known after investigation.."
Assortments of all the four who were grabbed on Friday night by suspected NDFB (Songbijit) activists, including two teenaged young men, have now been found. The principal body, bearing a cut stamp on the head, was recouped last nighttime from the waterway in Barpeta region.
The bodies recouped today were distinguished as those of Ataur Rahman (27), Rubul Amin (45) and Saddam Ali(13), while that of Bakar Ali(13) was discovered yesterday.
The four were among seven lemon brokers who had gone to Labdanguri showcase in Baksa locale from the adjoining Barpeta region.
The relatives and villagers in Barpeta locale, from where the four hailed, have declined to direct the last ceremonies requesting that Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi visit the range to address their grievances.
The police let go circulating everywhere to scatter a horde dissenting against the seize overlooking the time limit at Anand Bazar range, Seshan said, adding "police had to use force as the people violated the curfew and refused to leave the place."
The state government last nighttime supplanted the Baksa Superintendent of Police Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant and delegated tenth Assam Police Battalion commandant Mojibur Rahman in his spot.
In May in the not so distant future, 50 individuals were executed in Baksa and Kokrajhar in Bodoland Territorial Area Districts by suspected Bodoland Peoples Front-underpinned activists. NIA and the state government are independently examining the occurrences.
