Modi had praised the work of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday during his address in Lok Sabha.
While replying to a debate on motion of Thanks on address of
president, Modi said "My sister Mamata Banerjee is working really hard
to undo the damage done in the past 35 years in West Bengal."
Thereafter, TMC chief in Lok Sabha Kalyan Banerjee told a local
news channel "Mamata Banerjee has been making tremendous efforts to
develop the state for the last three years. He (Modi) has acknowledged
that. We are happy."
