National: Bangalore Police waiting for evidence against rape accused |

Ghulam said today, "I spoke to the home minister of Karnataka about the incident because of my long association with Karnataka. I was concerned about the situation. I have been told that the person has been arrested. However, I told that it won't be enough because the school management was equally guilty by hiding the crime, and I was assured that action will be taken."
"I think that society as a whole needs to rise to the occasion and needs a great transformation because its most unfortunate that half a dozen such cases come up everyday. It was least expected that such a thing would happen in the Southern states. Something has gone worong in our society."
Meanwhile in Bangalore, a massive crowd gathered outside a police station to demand justice for the six-year-old who was allegedly rape
d inside her school.
Reacting to the outrage, Bangalore Police Commissioner Raghavendra H. Auradkar assured strict action in the case, but also added that it is a difficult one and that the entire proceedings can't be explained in front of the media and before such a huge crowd. (ANI)
