Five individuals, including a policeman, were harmed in a low force shell impact close to Pune's Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati sanctuary on Thursday.
The shell was set on a cruiser in the stopping range of Faraskhana and Vishrambaug police headquarters found 200m from the sanctuary.
Maharashtra home priest R Patil, who went by the impact site, said the state hostile to terrorism squad (ATS) would examine the impact. "It is a challenge for the police as the blast happened on their premises.''
The injured were recognized as Manisha Jadhav, Jaswantsingh Mataprasad Singh, Sushant Salunkhe and Akshay Shinde. Every one of them were controlled medical aid and released later.
Police suspect Indian Mujahideen (IM) inclusion in the impact because of its likenesses with blasts in Pune prior.
They have discovered hints of ammonium nitrate and seized nails and metal spheres from the impact site. The same material was utilized within the other two impacts alongside RDX in the German pastry kitchen impact of 2010.
