“Bajirao Mastani” is an upcoming movie which will be directed by the
famous director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie is based on the
historical plot of India. The story revolves around great Maratha
Emperor Peshwa Bajirao and his second wife Mastani. Priyanka Chopra will
be donning the character of his first wife Kashibai whereas Deepika
will play the role of Mastani. It has been learnt that Ranveer Singh
will be taking special classes for learning Maratha language and also
expected to become bald for the movie.
The cast is finally settled for the much anticipated Bollywood movie “Bajirao Mastani.” According to sources, Priyanka Chopra has been finalized to play the role of the wife of Ranveer Singh in the movie. The movie also features Deepika Padukone in a pivotal role.
In an interview, Ranveer Singh admitted about the challenges of playing Peshwa Bajirao. He said, “Preparations for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is very intense. I will have to learn Marathi, horse riding, pick up the accent and do a lot of work for the character. I will have to shave off my hair, work on my look and the physical aspect.”
