Upwards of 378 projects are pending before Environment and Forest Ministry for award of clearances, government educated the Loksabha today.
Envrironment and Forests Minister Prakash Javadekar said 298 tasks were pending for environment freedom and 80 for woods leeway as of June 30 and his service was attempting to assist the procedure of conceding supports.
Among the recommendations pending for environment freedom, a most extreme of 55 were from 55 were from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's home state Gujarat emulated by 35 from Andhra Pradesh and 24 each from Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh.
