Mumbai Metro, which had a smooth start this morning, is now
running 20-30 minutes behind schedule.
Officials said the delay was due to "technical reason." Some of the trains are now packed with passengers as it is stranded at the stations en route.
The train which was scheduled to leave around 12.10pm from Ghatkopar, left only at 12.20pm recalled a commuter. The train got stranded at Asalpha station for another ten minutes. The passengers got down at the station and many inquired with the driver and the Metro staff at the station. They were informed that there was "red signal" and the reason wasn't known.
