Shraddha Kapoor came the distance to New Delhi in backing Whisper's 'Touch the pickle campaign' where she got genuine with us.
Talking only to ANI at the occasion, Shraddha said she was glad to be connected with the crusade which is attempting to break period taboos among Indian ladies.
As per reports, about 75 percent of the ladies still timid far from purchasing sterile cushions, 40 percent of ladies stay at home throughout 'that time of the month' and 65 percent don't wash their hair.
"I was extremely shocked to tell you the truth; the statistic number was very high. And, to know that 70 per cent of women don't lead their lives the way they really want to because of its period taboos is really disheartening."
"Because, when you think of how many dreams are being compromised and how many women are really not living the lives the way they do, and to live under the taboos such as you can't go to the kitchen, you can't touch the pickle, you can't wear white, you can't do any physical activity, so, all such period tattoos have a really bad effect on ladies," " included Shraddha.
On the event Whisper, a heading fem consideration brand swore to teach 15 million young ladies about the feminine cycle by 2017, and break the different taboos overarching in Indian culture.
