The ICC has affirmed that England group director Phil Neale has charged India's Ravindra Jadeja under Level 2 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel for an asserted occurrence that occurred on the second day of the first cricket Test at Trent Bridge.
The claimed offense has been accounted for under Article 2.2.11 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which states: "Where the facts of the alleged incident are not adequately or clearly covered by any of the above offences, conduct that either: (a) is contrary to the spirit of the game; or (b) brings the game into disrepute."
Jadeja has been charged for his asserted quarrel with England's James Anderson after they exited the field for lunch on Thursday. It is affirmed that after the players left general society region and entered the structure, Jadeja turned abruptly and made strides towards Anderson in a forceful and debilitating way.
All Level 2 breaks convey a fine of between 50-100 for every penny of appropriate Match Fee and/or up to two Suspension Points. Two suspension focuses likens to a boycott of one Test, or two Odis, contingent upon which sort of match is booked next for the suspended player. (ANI)
